The 1098 is a helpline directed by the Department of Social Services, Bangladesh. To protect children from all forms of physical, mental, and sexual harassment this particular platform works 24/7. However, to reach the guardians and children at the community level, Upazila Social Services Office, Mujibnagar arranged an awareness building campaign in association with the Good Neighbor, Bangladesh. In this campaign, we tried our best to make the participants aware about the rights and privileges if the children those who are the future of our country. And as a representative of the Department of the Social Services, I represented the essence and importance of 1098 in taking quick actions to prevent any types of abuse to the children. And we noted that this special helpline is totally toll-free. We hope it would bring a tremendous response at the community level in advertising 1098 for the betterment of the children.
